Our hearts go out to those affected by cancer. We at Touchstone Galleries, lend our support and hope through our current offering of the Heartfelt Cure Collection. This selection of perfectly pink jewelry was designed in order to support and remember those that have been impacted by cancer, the patients as well as the friends and families. In times of kind and gentle confessions of love, pride, and hope, tenderness is extended through this collection. Proceeds are donated to the American Cancer Society-Research where one day, hopefully soon, they can find the heartfelt cure. What is an ammonite? An ammonite is an ancient marine animal that has been extinct for over 65 million years. It’s name was derived from the Egyptian god Ammon because the fossil looks like a ram’s horn and Ammon had the horns of a ram. What is ammolite? Ammolite is a gemstone that is found on the outside of the shell of an ammonite. Much like a pearl, ammolite is constructed with nacre. It is a biogenic gemstone meaning it is a byproduct of a living creature or what used to be a living creature, which is a very rare case. |
