Amethyst "Anahi" Cluster
Amethyst Cluster form the famous "Anahi" Mine in Brazil. Featuring very large well terminated crystals some are 3-4 inches. The "Anahi" amethyst is a revered mine in Brazil that is in an extremely remote area where some of the most prized amethyst is found.
The "Anahi" comes with a legendary story about the Princess Anahi, the daughter of the Ayoreo chieftain who fell in love with a Spanish explorer.
This specimen has a great transition that shows the crystals growth. One can easily see the deep purple amethyst points, but underneath there are layers of smoky quartz, quartz and dolomitic limestone. It has 7 large crystals that measure approximately 3” in width and 6 medium crystals that measure about 1”-1.5” in width. This collector’s piece comes with a custom stand.
