Petrified Wood round. This very colorful petrified wood slice is from Arizona, where the most colorful petrified wood in the world is found. This piece has remarkable rare coloration, as the coloring comes from carbon and iron. Minerals have successfully replaced the cell structure of the once living tree to the extent that one would almost have to pick up the piece to come to realize that it is now stone.
