The Megalodon was a giant shark that existed 2-16 million years ago. Although there some some great stories that this shark may still exist; they are extinct. This is the perfect tooth to add to a fossil collection. It is large, natural and has some great serration. This tooth goes from a light tan at the tip and fades into shades of grey. The root is mostly gray with hints of tan. This fossil was found on the North Carolina/South Carolina border which some theorize used to be the breeding grounds for Megalodons millions of years ago.
