24" Ammonite Pachydiscus. This is a very showy Ammonite revealing the chambers filed with rich golden calcite crystals. Notice the wonderful suture leaf - like pattern on the surface. Both sides are handsomely featured in this custom made stand. Over millions of years the soft tissue of the ancient marine animal were replaced with minerals.
